What is a delivery note?
A delivery note is a document that proves that your customer has received the product they have bought. Once signed by the recipient of the merchandise, the delivery note is the guarantee you have to prove that you sent the product and that you have the right to charge.
Difference between delivery note and invoice
The concepts of delivery note and invoice sometimes cause confusion because, when the delivery note includes the price of the products delivered and taxes, it looks a lot like an invoice. The key difference is in the purpose each of these documents have: the delivery note serves to prove the delivery of the product once it is signed by the recipient. The invoice is used to request payment and, once recorded as collected, it serves as a guarantee to the client to prove the payment.
Types of delivery notes
The Delivery Note normally does not display the value of the goods being delivered or collected. However, with our program you will be able to choose whether to show the price or not.
